The creative campus at Snape Maltings was founded by Benjamin Britten in derelict industrial buildings on the Suffolk coast. The Music Cafe is part of Haworth Tompkins’ phased extension of the creative campus for Aldeburgh Music and converts a former granary store into a new café and reception point for artists and staff. The project completes the working environment by connecting the main concert hall back of house facilities with the Britten Pears Music School and the Dovecote studio.
